When recording audio, make sure you select the right input option from the black dropdown box at the top of each mixer track above where you select effects. if you are trying to record the audio input of your PC, you should hit one of the two options relating to that (Audio into edison/audio into playlist). If you are trying to record automation, you should hit the option that says 'Automation and Score'. Make sure your choosing the right option from the box of recording options. By record, do you mean record automation or record the signal from your computers input jack?
